15.AMANO-YA/Amazake shop & Japanese confectionery

It was established in1846. Japanese enjoy sweet Sake “Amazake” in the winter, and especially on New Year’s Day. But during the Edo period, people had it for good health in the summer. Amanoya‘s “Amazake” is well known as it has kept it’s original taste for a long time. You can try it and other Japanese confectioneries at this shop. Both the outside and inside of the shop have a very old & nice atmosphere such as what you would see on old Japanese masterpiece movies.
