We will be bringing you the information about the rent a bike shop guide and on the old part of Tokyo, the “shitamachi” of which the best known as Asakusa. There are many fascinating places in shitamachi, and it is easier to get around by bike!
We’ve collected the information by bike & walking around the areas by ourselves.
Each shitamachi is fascinating in its own way. Come & especially enjoy the Edo period feeling, other traditional Japanese aspects of town and meeting the friendly shitamachi people!

For this web site to become better, we heartily welcome your feedback about your visiting in Japan, and also our web site!

CYCLE 2 PROJECT

Our first project “SMILECYCLE.COM” was created for women who were beginners at bike. The web site has been running since 2007. The magazine “smilecycle” was published in 2008 & in 2009. We came up with the concept, contents, and almost all this web site, and some parts of the magazine. This was the first web site and magazine ever in Japan that was published for women who were beginners in bike.

To make good use of our experience as “SMILECYCLE.COM” & “smilecycle”, we’ve started a new project “FROM ASAKUSA TO ASAKUSA” and the rent a bike shop guide. This CYCLE 2 PROJECT has been made possible because we were able to receive much help from all the wonderful people we have met through our project.
